Karoline and Kolton first crossed paths thanks to his sister and brother-in-law, Kayla and Zak Koenig. After meeting a few times in social settings, Kolton finally asked Zak for Karoline’s number. Their first official date was at Greek’s 205 (Victoria) in August 2024, and from that night on, they have been inseparable.A long distance courtship ensued, while Karoline worked at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, and Kolton was continuing his law career in Victoria. A year and a half of busy schedules, highway miles, and a demanding legislative session proved that long distance is definitely not for the faint of heart, but their love passed the test.On March 18th, the very day Karoline moved back to Victoria, Kolton proposed on his front porch ~ a place that had become special to them through countless evenings spent on the swing in front of his Old Victoria home. At last, they are counting down the days until forever and are so grateful to celebrate their union with you in May.

BEST. MARGARITA. IN. TOWN. Ask for the "Frank-A-Rita"! This is a great Sunday morning recovery spot. Enjoy their breakfast tacos or the breakfast tornados and perhaps a "hair of the dog".

Las Palmas Mexican Bar & Grill

Karoline &amp; Kolton had their first official date here! Don't let the name of this family-owned establishment fool you...their menu features a hearty mix of American, Tex-Mex, and Cajun inspired dishes. They love their Ribeye, Shrimp Cozumel, Blanche's Sauteed Mushroom Relish, and Mexican Martini.

Greek Bros. Oyster Bar & Grill

Karoline and Kolton's locally owned neighborhood bar. If you arrive on Friday, you might check out the downtown scene.

Housed in a historic Greek Revival building, the&nbsp;Nave Museum&nbsp;is Victoria’s premier fine arts museum. Originally built in 1932 as a memorial to Texas artist Royston Nave, who was renowned for his portrait work, it features rotating exhibitions of regional and national art, along with pieces from its permanent collection—an easy, elegant stop for guests to enjoy during the weekend. Free admission! Kolton serves on their Board of Directors.

Nave Museum

The&nbsp;Museum of the Coastal Bend is located on the campus of Victoria College and&nbsp;showcases the rich history of the Texas Gulf Coast, with exhibits ranging from early Indigenous cultures to Spanish exploration and regional settlement. It’s a great stop for guests interested in local history and offers an easy, engaging way to spend part of the wedding weekend in Victoria.

Museum of the Coastal Bend

The&nbsp;Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art&nbsp;is a contemporary art museum in downtown Victoria featuring rotating exhibitions of modern and experimental work from regional and national artists. Housed in a historic building, it offers a small but thoughtfully curated space that’s perfect for a quick cultural stop during the wedding weekend. No admission fee!

Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art

The rich history of South Central Texas ranching is on perfectly curated display at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum in Cuero and is very near the location for our reception. The superior exhibits are a must-see in the award winning renovated space.
