You have options! You have time to head home or to your hotel after the ceremony to freshen up, grab a snack, or change into your dancing shoes before making your way to charming Cuero, Texas for the reception. (Cuero is a short 30 minute drive.) You also could head straight to Cuero and enjoy the exhibits at The Chisolm Trail Heritage Museum, which is just around the corner from The Venue. (First Lady Laura Bush loves it!) One street behind The Venue is The 5D Tavern Cocktail Bar. Stop in for some local hospitality.

For our out of town guests, we have reserved room blocks at the Hilton Garden Inn in Victoria and at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Cuero. The Inn on Main in Victoria is a bed and breakfast option. Lodging in Victoria allows a quick trip to the Cathedral but a 30 minute drive home from the reception. Staying in Cuero allows the opposite. You will have a 30 minute drive to the ceremony but a less then 10 minute drive after the reception. No, and please be aware that our small towns have limited ride-share services. We encourage you to make your plans in advance for carpooling and/or designated drivers.

To honor the sanctity of the Cathedral and the ceremony, please keep phones and cameras tucked away. We have a wonderful photographer to record the day. For you ~ some of the best moments are felt and not recorded. We honor and appreciate your presence.
